Confessional: Growth Spurts

It’s Thanksgiving weekend and I’m almost on my way back to Calgary for my second time since my last post. Much has changed for me in the past couple of months; so much so that it feels like time has lapsed.

Since August I’ve been practicing Bio-E on everyone and anyone I can. It has been lovely to share ‘Bio-Energy-Moments’ with the special individuals I have worked with in a coaching capacity for years.

My trip to Calgary in September was life changing. I solidified friendships, I laughed, I cried, I put a large amount of information into my brain. As soon as I got back I included myself as the partner at Lux Bio Energy where I will be responsible for running the Toronto location.

As I settled back-in at home in Toronto my challenge this month has been to shift my focus to my coaching project. Thanks to lessons I learned at the course, in addition to the awesome treatments I got from Laine-The-Great and my classmates, I have been handling all stress and pressure calmly; it has been a sight to behold.

One of my favorite lessons from the course thus far has been my relationship with focus and attention. By the combination of focused-attention, gratitude and decisive-action, amazing things have happened for me this month.

Just yesterday I had the very magical experience of coaching a women’s lacrosse game at Varsity Stadium. I helped them to achieve their very first team win of the season, they gave me one of the best days I’ve had in years.

It was perfect harmony.

I am sure there will be more where that came from. I expect this to be an inspirational month!

Cheers,
J

Confessional: It’s been a long time, I shouldn’tve left you…

Standard

I just returned from Calgary yesterday and when I say the trip was incredible, that is a gross understatement.

I learned new techniques, made some amazing friends, had 3 treatments from Laine-the-Great which left me feeling absolutely glorious, and I had the honour of learning¬† from Michael D’Alton himself.

I am currently managing my work schedule, my internship (working under a Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor), and a heavy homework schedule.

I will be returning to Calgary in late September but in the mean time I have committed to reaching some goals; like doing what I say I’m going to do and becoming the best Bio Energy Healer I possibly can.

That said, I must practice on at least one person (or more) each day, read over and review course material, conduct case studies, and return with mad skills–Hermione Granger style!

As of today, I am fully booked for the upcoming week but have lots of open slots in the upcoming weeks!

So, if you’re in Toronto, and you would like to try a course of treatment (5 Sessions of Bio Energy Healing), email me!

I am trading treatments for client referrals!

As far as blogging goes, I will be blogging as much as I can fit in now that my course load has picked up!

And as a means of making up for neglecting this site, where Earth Witches come to unite, I leave you this wonderful video from the year 2000.

Enjoy!

Confessions: Bio Energy Insults

Standard

While training a client this morning she began a discussion about one of her ‘workers’; i.e. someone she pays to work for her (I am someone who also fits under this heading). She began to talk negatively about this person; saying the worker was always sick and that she only became sick to control her husband (an observation about a person that only the person would be able to observe), and also that she was crazy.

In any case, she began to talk about this woman’s preferred method of healing which happened to be Reiki – another form of energy healing. She said that the worker was crazy for believing in such a thing. She even began making the type of sounds one would make if they were telling a ghost story; waving her fingers, ooh-ing and ah-ing.

I didn’t reveal to this individual my hidden love for human bio energy, nor did I share any information about this scientifically-proven field of study, instead I listened. I wasn’t insulted or mad but instead I felt pity for her and for all people who remain strongly closed-minded and unaware of the infinite possibilities of the human reality.

It made me realize that being shut off to the mysterious and/or defining it out of fear or in order to avoid facing it is far worse than simply remaining open to the endless possibilities and potential that exists within our mysterious existence. We know that our thoughts create our reality; thus the way you define your world will create it. Why not accept that mysterious forces are at play and remain open to the possibility that they could be revealed to you just because you are open to them?

That is my belief. Call me crazy if you must.

The fact is that there are all different types of beliefs in this world, what is right for me may not be right for you, however if what is right for me is different than what is right for you, labeling someone like me a freak, or crazy only creates a finite world for yourself that will lack in creativity, beauty, and mystery.

Be open.

Treatment Report – Anonymous

Standard

I recently had the honour of treating a professional athlete. He had experienced a serious concussion and his trainer suggested he come and see me.

At the start of the visit I could sense he was very skeptical and he was clearly coerced into coming by his trainer. His trainer accompanied him to the session and he seldom spoke, allowing his trainer to answer most of the questions I asked. He was very tall, 6’5 to my measly 5 feet, so I was quite nervous to treat someone whose head I knew I could not reach over. Thankfully I consulted with Laine, one of my mentors, who rightly advised me on how to proceed properly.

I kept my concentration through out the treatment and was able to maintain a constant connection to his energy streams – only losing focus twice throughout but quickly returning my focus each time. As I began the detoxification process I noticed that he began to perspire a great deal – more so than what one would expect from an athlete who was statically standing in a warm room. When I asked him how he was doing he reported feeling very dizzy and needing to sit down. I worried that he might fall over and had to prompt him many times to try his best to stand up while I pulled over a chair. He wobbled and I held him up, finally letting go to quickly bring a seat to his aid.

When he sat I continued the session as I would have if he were still standing and I noticed that his reaction to the treatment eventually normalized within approximately 5-8 minutes. We completed the session and he reported feeling very dizzy at times and also reported feeling ‘things’ when I was working around his head region. He later reported to his trainer, who reported to me, that he felt great after the session.

I do not know if I will see this client again however I really hope I do. I could notice an immediate change in his affect after concluding the session.

So here’s to athletes and their individual journeys towards greatness! Bring.It.On!

Treatment Report – Lily Session 4

Standard

Quick Update: I treated Lily yesterday for her fourth treatment. She was experiencing a lot of work stress and some relationship problems. I first worked to teach her a meditation she could use to help with her relationship and then we got to the treatment.

I could tell that her mind was all over the place and she was having trouble concentrating. I don’t think it helped much that I stepped on a candle partway through the session spreading candle wax everywhere!

She reported feeling very little, which doesn’t surprise me since she was stuck in her mind for the majority of the session, however she did write me a quick note today saying that she had a fantastic sleep, she felt much more in control today, and felt ‘centered’.

I will be interested to hear how things go with her significant other!

Bio Energy Healing For Athletes

Standard

To achieve athletic greatness, one must first achieve energetic integrity.

Athletes are individuals who have abnormal physical capabilities. They are humans who can control their bodies to a degree that is above and beyond what is considered ‘normal’. They are physically strong, seemingly energetic, and can move with speed, precision, and finesse. In order to achieve the status of ‘athlete’ one not only needs to train their muscles and hone them to a particular skill-set, but they must also achieve ‘energetic balance’. To achieve the status of athletic greatness however, one must also achieve ‘energetic integrity‘.

Energetic balance requires free-flowing energy through all 7 chakras. When energetic balance is achieved and maintained, an athlete will incur little to no injury, they will recover easily from all athletic feats (workouts, tough competition schedules, etc), and they will obtain the ability to treat their sport as a form of meditation where they are able to perform in a meditative state of being. They will experience less anxiety or nervousness and they will move with an endless flow of passion and creativity allowing them to excel to high levels.

Energetic integrity is based on the laws of the human magnetic field. This field that surrounds the body can work as a force field however it can become weakened by acts committed by the individual that go against the universal laws of ethics and humanity. In order for an athlete to achieve ‘energetic integrity’ they must act, in all instances (on and off the field), with integrity. Never out of selfishness, greed, manipulation or hypocrisy. Always from a place of passion, honesty, and humility; for the purposes of pure-play and fair competition (as opposed to the purposes of making money or becoming famous)-with the ultimate goal of inspiring.

Two perfect examples of great athletes who achieved both energetic balance and energetic integrity are Lionel Messi and Aryton Senna (pictured above). Their natural talents¬† and balanced energy systems allowed them to become good enough athletes to get noticed by the ‘big leagues’ but their personal integrity backed by their personal passion is what allowed them to become great. In both cases it was religious beliefs (or spirituality) that taught each to live and act with integrity (though I will duly note that religion is not necessary for an individual to follow the universal laws of ethics and humanity). Not only did they each achieve unmatched greatness in their sport, but they also helped many others along the way. Aryton Senna is personally responsible for giving hope to his entire country of Brasil during a time of extreme poverty when people were completely destitute and hopeless while Lionel Messi is known for his generous charitable contributions to his native Argentina. Both have inspired millions of people worldwide.

If you happen to be an athlete who has been resting (not-so)comfortably on your physically-gifted-laurels and you dream of achieving athletic greatness, consider learning more about your subtle body and its relationship to integrity. An easy way to work towards step 1 of the athletic journey is Bio Energy Healing. It can easily help an athlete achieve energetic balance by detoxifying, unblocking, and balancing the 7 chakras.

If you’re interested in achieving energetic integrity I’m afraid that’s up to you; the individual. When you achieve it, you will no doubt reach greatness.

Your Chakras and Their Correlating Addictions

Do you suffer from addictions and wonder what that says about you energetically? Here is a great chart from ‘The Subtle Body: An Encyclopedia of Your Energetic Anatomy’ by Cyndi Dale. This chart helps you to figure out your energetic problem areas.

Bio Energy Healing Update

Standard

Those of you who have been following along from the beginning know that I am a sports coach who stumbled upon this new modality of healing and fell instantly in love. Since I returned home from the course I took with Michael D’Alton last month I have been faithfully blogging, practicing my new-found skills on friends, clients, and even some strangers, and in addition reading as much about the energy field, the chakras, and energy healing modalities as time will allow.

With all of that said, I have not practiced in over a week! I taught a sports camp last week, ‘summered’ during both weekends in between, and haven’t read a thing about energy during that time. I even dreamt last night that I was back in Michael’s course and he was asking us if we had practised what was required of us. In the dream I had not and I was regretful.

I am taking this as a wake-up call! While I love coaching and see it as one of my unique skills, I also love Bio-Energy Healing and have dreams of becoming great at it.

Here is the fact: You cannot become great at anything you do not focus your attention to.

Thus I will shift my attention back to where it needs to be and will move BEH – Practice up to the front seat (beside summer).

I am officially open for some hands-off business.

… now off to meditate!

I Love Coaching…

Standard

I just completed the 2nd day of a 3-day sports camp that I am teaching for girls. The camp is a Strength & Conditioning Camp that also focuses specifically on Women’s Field Lacrosse and today we learned about energy and meditation. The girls got their very first introduction to their energy system and they learned how to meditate with clear intentions so they can play with clear minds. After their very first lesson on meditation I took the group through a guided meditation and an hour long yoga class. By the end they were calm and relaxed – some even fell asleep.

It felt great being the first person in these girls’ life to teach them the importance of meditation, explain to them what the subtle energy field is, and how they can apply certain techniques to improve their athletic performance. They were all receptive and noticeably intrigued.

I’ve heard people say that teenagers are a handful, or that they are dumb, or that they think they know everything.

I think teenagers are wonderful.

They are always waiting intently for the rare moments when adults will share some information with them that actually makes sense and challenges their busy minds. The problem, in my opinion, is that we just don’t do it enough.

Sam – Treatment Report

Standard

Sam heard that I was doing Bio Energy Healing and called me right away leaving a message on my voice mail and then calling back again to make an appointment.

I could hear in Sam’s voice that he was desperate for help and looking for a way to alleviate some work stress.

When Sam came over, I could see how tired he seemed. His posture slouched and he seemed to drag himself up the stairs to meet me just barely managing to put a smile across his face. Before we began Sam described the tensions he constantly felt at work and how some of his relationships with his colleagues made him feel out of place and left out. It seemed to him that the treatment he was receiving at work wasn’t meeting his expectations and he came for treatment to gain additional energy and positivity going forward.

Because many of the problems he described were of a social manner and also having to do with the workplace, I worked to open and detox his heart chakra and his solar plexus chakra.

As I began the treatment I could feel strong energy in most of his energy-streams and I worked to try and release some of his blockages. It seemed somehow fitting that someone who seemed so physically exhausted had the strongest energy I’d felt yet.

Through out the treatment Sam swayed and moved and after the treatment he reported feeling being pushed and pulled.

When the treatment was through Sam reported feeling exhausted and I gave him a glass of water while he sat.

Sam said he would contact me in the upcoming week to schedule a follow-up session.¬† I will be very interested to hear how he felt later that evening and the following day. He promised to keep me updated over email so I’ll keep you posted!
